Welcome! Here, you’ll find six exhibits prepared by our first cohort of students who spent three weeks in Leeds this summer learning about healthcare innovations and scientific communication.

Throughout this exhibit, you’ll become a cloning specialist, researching and learning the history of it. You’ll meet a furry friend, consider ethics, and get inspiration for future research ideas.

The Rise and Fall of Chloroform is an interactive exhibit that takes the audience back in time to explore the history and science of chloroform, and how anesthesia has changed over the years.

In this exhibit, we will be diving into the United Kingdom’s innovation of blood transfusions. The history, the progress, the science, and the future are all exhibited and will allow you to dive deeper into the story of this life changing innovation.

This interactive exhibit takes you through the journey of In Vitro Fertilization and explains what it means to go through this process as a patient, family, or loved one. “How to Make a Baby ” is designed to highlight the complex stories and history behind IVF while educating the general audience.

Through historic artifacts and interactive experiences, discover how one innovation reshaped infection control and laid the foundation for modern antiseptic medicine.
